Popular Jamaican entertainer Earlan Bartley (Alkaline) was charged with conspiracy to commit murder today at the (CIB) HQ after the weekend of questioning.
A court date has not been given as yet, but the deejay will remain in custody until bail is granted.
The deejay was locked up Thursday morning after he turned himself into investigators who are probing the murder case of Rohan Morris.
Attorney Peter Champagnie has indicated that he is prepared to go to court to press for the release of dancehall artiste Alkaline.
The police on Tuesday said Alkaline was wanted for questioning in relation to the murder of Rohan ‘Head’ Morris of Maverley, St Andrew.
The murder took place on January 13.
