As the craze continues to sweep the UK and the US, the clown in County Durham was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms, red shoes, a multi-coloured top and a mask.
Masked men with a painted face and carrying a knifes jumped out at a group of people who was trying to gather food items during the evacuation out of Florida and chased them to their cars in the latest of the so-called “Killer Clown” incidents.
The victims, aged 22 to 35, were on their way to the Hurricane Shelter in Atlantic Technical College’s Arthur Ashe Jr., Campus, at 8.40am when they were given the fright – leaving them distressed and cornered.
The clown was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms, red shoes, a multi-coloured top, a mask and had his face painted.
Neighbourhood Sergeant Mel Sutherland, said: “The people arrived at school understandably upset and scared by this incident and we are currently trying to locate this man.
They also told us that couple of the persons who was with them disappeared, 5 persons to be exact. There’s a slight possibility that they are dead.
