The Bob Marley Museum and One Love Cafe at 56 Hope Road Kingston reopened its gates and doors on Monday, December 29.


The tourist attraction and home of reggae legend, Robert Nesta Marley, was temporarily closed to facilitate a renovation project that started on October 16, 2014.

This morning, General Manager Marie Bruce, staff members along with guests from across the world held an intimate blessing at the Museum led by priests of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church.

General Manager Marie Bruce thanked those in attendance on behalf of the Marley Family and noted that they are happy to reopen the doors to the Museum, especially with the renovations that will give visitors an enhanced experience.

The Museum’s operational hours will remain the same Monday to Saturday from 9:30pm – 4:00pm. The final tour for 2014 at both Bob Marley Museum and Tuff Gong International will begin at 12 noon on December 31st. Both properties will be closed to tours on January 1, 2015 and will reopen on January 2, 2015.
