We’ve come to accept that Curry’s range has no bounds. But watch how easily he knocks down 5 straight shots from the Center Court Logo in the pregame warm-ups for the Game 1 of the 2016 Western Conference Finals. Insane.
You’ll notice something special at the 5:07 mark of the video — Curry makes five shots in a row from the logo near halfcourt. When it happens, Payne said that he could actually do that from one step farther back. That seems insane, but you have to believe him. In an interview with ESPN’s Ethan Sherwood Strauss, Payne said Curry would eventually take those shots in games.
If his pregame warmup is any indication of how he’ll fare in Game 1, the Oklahoma City Thunder may be in for a world of hurt Monday night against league MVP Stephen Curry and his Golden State Warriors.
Positioned near center court, “The Chef” proceeded to drill five straight buckets with ease.
