Not surprisingly, DJ Khaled’s latest album, Grateful, has landed in the coveted #1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart for the week ending on June 29.
With its elaborate cast — Migos, Drake, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Beyoncé, JAY-Z, Drake, Future, Chance The Rapper, Raekwon and more — it was obviously going to be a major release. Miraculously, Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. has held on to the #3 slot once again after 11 weeks in the Top 10 and Vince Staples’ Big Fish Theory debuts at #16. 2 Chainz’s Pretty Girls Like Trap Music falls 59 percent and lands in the #5 spot.
DJ Khaled Grateful For Sure
With 121,116,594 album streams, 49,527 pure album sales and 149,127 total album equivalent units sold, DJ Khaled’s Grateful makes it grand entrance in the #1 slot. This marks two back-to-back #1 debuts for the well connected DJ/producer, following 2016’s Major Key, which was certified Gold by the RIAA roughly four months after its late July release.
