A Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) bus caught fire along Washington Boulevard, near Cooreville Gardens, St Andrew, yesterday afternoon.
The incident happened shortly before 4 p.m.
At the time of the fire, the number 33 bus, which is believed to have been coming from the Half-Way Tree Transport Centre, had reached its termination point near Cooreville Gardens.
Marketing and communications manager of the JUTC, Clinton Clarke, said it is unclear what started the fire.
He said no one was injured in the incident as the driver had already let off the final passenger.
Teams from the fire brigade and the police were also present at the scene.
