Tanesha ‘Shorty’ Johnson, the common law wife of incarcerated deejay Vybz Kartel, is warning the public and potential business interest that the Facebook account being operated under her name or label Short Boss Muzik is fake.
“I am not on Facebook and at no time did I ask anyone to create a page for me.
The page is done by unauthorized persons to collect money. My sons are not even doing stage shows as yet,” she stated.
She stated that the scammers have made contact with promoters and other business interests, and have been collecting money for dubs and jingles for Vybz Kartel.
In addition, they are also booking her sons for stage shows.
“I really want these scammers to stop because I don’t want people to hurt me whenever I am on the road,” she added.
Shorty created her Short Boss Muzik label last year during the trial of her partner Vybz Kartel. The first single from her label was Vybz Kartel’s School, which is still a hit in the dancehall.
This was followed by Gimi Di Money recorded by their sons Little Addi and Little Vybz.
Other songs that followed include Make Up, Louis V and Pretty Face which were all recorded by Vybz Kartel
