The Trelawny Police have taken into custody a suspect for the killing of a taxi man at his home on Sunday.

Seventy-year-old Seston Walters of Cave Island, Falmouth, Trelawny was effecting repairs to a fence at his home when he was pounced upon by a man, who is believed to be of unsound mind was armed with a machete which he used to chopped Seston several times.

A manhunt was subsequently launched for the suspect; he was captured in the Hague district in the parish.

His identity is being withheld pending further investigations.
