Tommy Lee Sparta is hitting back at cops who are labeling him a gang banger and preventing him from performing at last month’s Reggae Sumfest in his home town Montego Bay.
In a one-minute recorded message, the “Spartan Soldier” deejay says that his past associate with certain artist (Vybz Kartel) is causing a lot of problems for his career.
“Due to my past relationship with some controversial artists and them having their issues, I’ve been stereotyped and misrepresented with the view of me being a person of interest to the authorities,” Tommy Lee said.

Some of Vybz Kartel’s fans are interpreting this statement as Tommy Lee blaming the self proclaimed World Boss, who is his former boss, for his current problems with law enforcement authorities.
The dancehall star also point out that he have fans who are gang bangers but he himself is not affiliated with any gang and as such has no control over what those gangs are doing.
“I sadly have no physical control over my fans actions,” Lee said.
