While dancehall artist Alkaline has found himself in the company of top artists of the industry, it is no secret that he isn’t a favourite. Alkaline released a song entitle “One inna dem head” in November 2014, which was said to be firing shots at incarcerated ‘King of the Dancehall’ Vybz Kartel.

In the song Alkaline said “How some b#$%!@hole suh comfortable weh dem deh?” this was said to be in reference to Vybz Kartel behind bars, and another line “man a wash u underpants p^%&y u ago dead enuh” is said to speak to the common prison talks.

The feud was taken on by former Portmore Empire artist, Tommy Lee Sparta, who was obviously not about to just stand by and do nothing about a ‘hurry come up’ artist dissing his boss and fellow entertainer.

The two artists almost had a confrontation when they travelled on the same plane from a show that they did in another caribbean island. Tommy Lee stated that Alkaline had been dropping words at him and the worl boss on the plane as he kept singing “One inna dem head enuh”, and as such he decided to ‘bar’ him in the seat on their way back from the show.

Tommy lee said that he assumed the aisle row seat next to Alkaline’s window seat, with the hopes that the artist would need to relieve himself at the restroom and would need to pass him. Tommy was ready for a confrontation. He stated, however, that Alkaline was ‘scared’ and did not try to pass him and even refused to take pictures with fans who were traveling on the same flight.

Word in the street is that Vybz Kartel’s recent single “Who trick him” is the long awaited response to Alkaline. The lyrical song on the Studio Vibes Entertainment produced hard-hitting Pandora Riddim hosts a very serious Vybz Kartel as he asks the question “Who Trick him?… doh she u bad u naven a kill chicken”. Vybz Kartel seems to be warning the young deejay that he is nowhere near his league of ‘badness’ and as such he should not be fooled by the timely fame he is now basking in, “a nuh yesideh mi pass yuh a bathe dolly?’

The song which was release on youtube about 3 days ago has already garnered over 59,000 plus views, on one popular youtube channel.

Vybz Kartel is currently serving a life sentence with the possibility of parole in 35 years, after he was arrested and charged for the 2011 murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams.
