Dancehall star Alkaline, whose given name is Earlan Bartley, remains in police custody as the probe into the murder of Rohan “Head” Morris in St Andrew last month intensifies.

Alkaline was wanted for questioning in relation to the murder of Morris of Three Oaks Garden in St Andrew. Morris was shot more than 15 times by armed thugs at his home in January. Sources say the 28-year-old unemployed man was slaughtered while next to a five year old child believed to be his daughter.

After reporting to the Police station on Thursday for question Alkaline was held for one night and then we got more information last night that he will be staying until next week.

While being held, allegedly an Unruly Fan who was being held for an unknown crime may have attacked Alkaline when he was in his cell last night. A member from the Vendetta camp contacted their his lawyer instantly to try and get him out.
