Yet another woman has fallen victim to domestic violence, this time in Manchester.
Police say the 28 year old woman has been hospitalised with multiple stab wounds.
Reports are that the woman and her mother were at their home in blue mountain district, when a loud explosion was heard.
The 2 females ran from the house and observed that a section of the building had been set on fire.
An alarm was raised, and a male relative who lives next door, reportedly came to their assistance.
Police say while outside, a man said to be the former boyfriend of the 28 year old woman, attacked her with a knife.
The woman’s uncle was also stabbed during the incident.
The 2 wounded person were taken to hospital for treatment.
The ex-boyfriend escaped in nearby bushes.
The woman’s mother was not hurt.
