Ishawna is getting a stern warning from the Jamaican police following the now-viral video of her driving.
On Sunday the ‘Equal Right’ singer uploaded a video of her operating her Mercedes-Benz while gyrating to Vybz Kartel and Spice’s smash hit 2009 single ‘Ramping Shop.’
“Somebody please stop mi!!!!!!! Mi can’t stop miself!!!!! ??? #Festivities,” she wrote.
However while her female fans lauded her actions, cops aren’t amused citing her behaviour as irresponsible. “Natalia Smith [Ishawna] is getting out of hand and i’m only sorry an officer wasn’t on the road to give her the full book of the law,” one lawman said.
“The video uploaded on her Instagram is displaying reckless driving which is a serious offense and is punishable by fines, imprisonment”
“Her driver’s license should be suspended as she needs to understand that her actions will influence others which could increase road fatalities on our roads,” he added.
In 2016 Jamaica recorded 320 accidents in which 377 people were killed. According to the Road Safety Unit, of the 377 fatalities, 122 were drivers and passengers of private motor vehicles.
