On March 12, 2017, The Jamaica Observer came on to heavy fire for posting a rather lude image that has reader in a frenzy.

Apparently the Sunday Observer was recapping moments from the Carnival but some thought they might have really taken it too far.

The issue is that, dancehall has always been depicted as very x-rated and has always been depicted as degrading. But is The Observer saying that these similar behavior is only accepted during carnival. Rather biased seeing that carnivals are really Trinidadians culture. So the actual issue is that Dancehall is not accepted by its own country? Quite double standard isn’t it?
